The CNC is a friendly, global bioblitz challenge among cities to see who has the most biodiversity. Started by museums in Los Angeles and the California Academy of Sciences, it spread to cities across the continental US and went international the year after. It continues to add cities across the globe each year.
The last CNC that Maui participated in was in 2023. We are looking to start back up in 2027.
